while filling our pockets with tiny pebbles
and sipping at each jumping wave
To pause, at seeing what'd been so overlooked
and they in disbelief at being caught in truth
and so whisper melodies playing secrets singing sighs
wondering when no if and why not now
these moments transpire and fade out as quickly
leaving faintly
confusion
hopefully
games unending
